Welcome Jag Families!
Let's get ready to make 2016-2017 a great year!
5 Steps to help make this a great school year.
1. Join the PTSA - click to find out how - WE NEED YOUR MEMBERSHIP!
The Parent Student Teacher Association is the collective voice of our school community. Falls Church High School PTSA is made up of parents, students and FCHS staff who are working together to enrich and advocate for our school
Membership is $15/adult and $5/student. This is our only source of income. Everyone wants the PTSA to support our teachers, students and our school - but this takes dollars. Please consider joining or donating! JOIN
2. Attend at least one meeting.
The principal gives an update on the happenings behind the scene. A teacher rep tells what is going on all over the school (your son or daughter might be mentioned) and parents share ideas or express concerns! We will not have the usual long winded unnecessary information - it is short and sweet!
3. Read Jagmail, our newsletter that is filled with information for our Falls Church High School Community!
4. Get involved.
If your son/daughter is part of the band - join the Band Boosters. If your son/daughter plays sports join the athletic boosters. Attend concerts, go to plays, get to Falls Church and see what is happening. Your son or daughter does not have to be part of the play in order to be interested and attend. Our students learn what they see us do. Value what our students are doing! It can make a difference for everyone! And, your son or daughter wants you to be there - even if they don't say it!
5. Ask Questions
If you want more information, or if you need a question answered email us. We are here for all parents!
Hopefully every student at Falls Church High School is being challenged and experiencing a rewarding education at our school. But, sometimes it might take us getting a little more involved in our students daily life to make sure that is happening. The first step for families can be an appointment in our career counseling center. Check them out!
